FIELD TRIPS & EXCURSIONS

Our field trips open doors to art, culture, and connection — at no cost to our members. From galleries and museums to concerts, film screenings, expos, parks, restaurants, and working artist studios, each outing is designed to inspire creativity, build community, and expose youth to the possibilities within and beyond the creative industries. These experiences aren’t just memorable, they’re transformative. For many of our participants, it’s their first time seeing a live show, walking through a major museum, or speaking directly with a working artist. We believe access matters, and every trip helps unlock new stories, confidence, and paths forward.

Field Trip Costs at a Glance

We work hard to keep our programs free and accessible, but every field trip comes with real costs. Here's a typical breakdown:

• Museum or event admission: $12–$50 per youth

• Transportation (MetroCards or van rental): $6–$10 per youth

• Meals : $15-$40 per youth

• Staff or chaperone stipends: $75–$150 per trip

A single trip for a group of 10–15 youth can range from $550 to $1500, depending on the destination.
